I also started to check out the faculties of the Sociology Departments of these 4 campuses. UCSB’s is the most interesting for me, where Mark Juergensmeyer teaches and based on his publication list he is interested in what I am. I ordered one of his books: Terror in the Mind of God : The Global Rise of Religious Violence. (Wade Clark Roof might be also interesting for me to check out.) So this is another reason why I may choose UCSB. Beside the fact that I really like that city. Just for the record: UCLA’s Soc. Faculty page, UCSC’s, and UCSD’s.
