Bad Lieutenant (1992, USA)

I am not even sure I should write about this movie, because I couldn’t bear to watch the whole thing. Just too brutal for me. I picked it, because I like Harvey Keitel, who played the protagonist. But here he was depicting such a dark figure, that I didn’t want to follow all his evils. I gave up after half an hour by when I saw that beside being corrupt officer a drug dealer and user he was also a killer and a thief. I had no pleasure in this movie and couldn’t imagine anything I could learn from it. I believe that people like this exist, but I don’t want to anything with them, not even knowing their stories.
