Bullshit. Here, I wrote down a “bad” word, something I rarely do. But it was said aloud in the movie lots of times and was not offensive for me, so now I can also say it. It was one of the good in-jokes there. I resisted watching this movie, because I thought it is another one of those ultralight comedies. But one Saturday afternoon I was just too tired to read and didn’t feel like working or sitting in front of the computer, and because my housemate had this movie in the house I popped it in. My expectations (i.e. none) were met precisely. The best part was that the two main actors (Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey) were genuinely good looking. So I enjoyed looking at them, while the predictable storyline unfolded. 90 minutes spent in “guilty pleasure”, so who is to blame me?
