Apám beájulna (Hungary, 2003)

Apám beájulnaThis is a very popular Hungarian one. It was bad, barely hold my attention. I haven’t seen the Britney Spears’ Crossroads but this one was supposed to be similar. Two teenage girls ran away for the summer from Hunary down to the Mediterrenean. They work, laugh, talk flirt through Greece, Spain and Italy. That’s about it. They talk a lot and supposed to be very cool. . I guess this was intended as a light summer movie. Well it’s missing the basic elements even for that. The music was way below average (despite that I kow the guy who wrote it), romance was non-existent, as the girls were almost sex-workers, and I didn’t even like them. I think if I’d be a 14 year old boy the curves and showing of flesh would have been attractive, but here it was simply self serving and boring. The best part of the experience was that I met someone I know at the bar of the cinema. We chatted for a few minutes and exchanged phone numbers
