Apres vous (France, 2003)

Apres vousThis was a good closure for the evening (having watched the previous two movies listed here). Lightweight, but too long at its two hours. Man saves other man from suicide at the city park in the night, thus feel responsible for his life and tried to help him to solve his issues, mostly about being lovesick and deserted. Meanwhile his own romantic life and job suffers. Nobody dies, but by the end victim and saviour switch places. Sweet and sour with a typical French zest. The lyrics of the main theme is still in ears and I think it tells all about the depth of this one: “Hello papa, don’t go Charlie.”
