S. Y. Agnon: Days of Awe

A Treasury of Jewish Wisdom for Reflection, Repentance, and Renewal on the High Holy DaysInspirational. That’s the first word that comes to mind about this compilation. Next year I know what to turn to around Rosh Hashanah, this year it was too late. Come to think of it it is not just those days when these meditative pieces can be opened up. They can serve any time when one is in the mood for self-, and God-reflection. Like any collection that are closer to my hearts than others. But I suspect that over the years it will change. But I can never finish mining from it. Makes me happy, pensive, sincere whenever I want it.
