This article from the Rocky Mountain News is a feature about the Building Bridges for Peace program bringing together young women (16 -19) from Israel, Palestine and the United States to participate in an intensive summer program in Denver, Colorado. I agree with Melodye Feldman, the founder and director of the program that the late-night discussions that Feldman knows go on privately, long past curfew, is a small victory. Only personal connections can lead to understanding and empathy, that may lead to more positive action.
