The Middle East Coexistence House (at Rutgers University’s Douglass College) is housing four Jewish, three Muslim, one Hindu, one Catholic, and one agnostic woman. I learned about it from a link at the New Jersey Jewish News’ current article pointing to an older one. The newer piece starts with covering the visit of two of them (a Jew and a Muslim) to a local synagogue, but ends of mostly painting the background of the event-organizer rabbi and the two women’s experience in the shared dorm. The older article is about the dedication of the effort and shares the stories of all the women who decided to move in.
