“The Interfaith Encounter Association is dedicated to promoting peace in the Middle East through interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural study.” Its leaders Dr. Yehuda Stolov director, and his Muslim co-facilitator, Najeeba Sirhan, principal and educator of an Arab Muslim Elementary School will be making their annual visit to the US from March 7-March 18. I believe the primary reason for the trip is fundraising, to save the organization from closure after five years of existence. However the site emphasizes that they will “speak about their work bringing children and adults from Christian, Muslim, Druze, Bedouin, and Jewish secular and religious backgrounds together for interfaith dialogue and relationships.” They will stop by in Chicago, Baltimore, and New York. Go check them out if you can.
