Films viewed in 2009

I kept hoping that I would be able to catch up and write a review of every movie I watched last year. Now that we are ending the fourth month of the new year I have to admit to myself that it is not going to happen. I still want to share the list, even if I cannot provide a link to my personal blog entry for every movie. This list may not contain every movie viewed as there were weeks when I was lagging in my logging. But should be pretty close. I wasn’t Before the list let me indulge in some statistics.

• I watched 141 movies, slightly less than in 2008
• 15 movies were in the top 1000 list.
• I blogged about 61 movies
• 46 were from 2009, 40 from 2008, an a half a dozen or so from each decade between 1940 and 2000

Two notes about the list:

• Clicking on the film titles will lead you to the DVD at Amazon.com
• I provided the Hungarian titles in parenthesis, where known for the convenience of my Hungarian readers. But I removed the accents from the vowels. Apologizes, but it was simpler this way.
