In order to be more focused I decided to start writing a weekly summaries of my (mostly online) activities. Here is the first installment
I re-started studying online religion. First I wrote up the introduction for this effort, then an entry about the top ten resources and finally noted two articles that appeared online this week.
At my Jewish Social Media blog I posted 13 short pointers to people (Susanne Goldstone Rosenhouse , events (genealogy presentation), organizations (Magnes Collection, Jewish Institute, Jvillage, Collaborative), resources (ethics) slides (camps), and articles (women’s status, lgbt, fastbook).
On my Sefarim (Kabbalah books) blog I posted 5+1 entries, including description of two books I didn’t read yet (Cohen’s A Tapestry of the Soul and Mark’s Mysticism and Madness), a review of a novel I did read (Moore’s Too Much of Nothing) and links to two recent articles (Shasha’s Dangerous Mystic Motifs in Judaism and Michaelson’s Perplexed by the Guides?). The plus one entry was about my registration of the KabbalahBooks.co domain.
I created a new Twitter account for my blog about/for Forestville and posted 6 new entries: three about upcoming events, one with the videos of this years parade, one with flyers of the concerts at the Forestville Club and one with a picture and article about Sarah’s Forestville Kitchen.
On the personal side I moved my gym to the basement on Sunday, but couldn’t work out on Monday. Every other day I did. I posted pictures of our daughter and of our garden every day of the week on their respective, dedicated blogs. After a year long break I got a cellphone. Friday we drove down to Santa Cruz, spent a few hours there and then went on to Pebble’s beach for the long weekend.
