Exercise summary of 2012

In 2012 I went to the gym 125 times, spending a few dozen hours short of 6000 hours exercising. Here is the breakdown of how that time was spent:

  • 1554 minutes on the elliptical running machine
  • 351 minutes on the stationary rowing machine
  • 404 minutes other cardio exercise, including water aerobic and bike
  • 610 minutes with ab exercises
  • 886 sets of weight, upper body and leg exercises (each set included 3 times 10-20 repetition)
  • 25 minutes playing racquetball
  • (and 52 minutes in the sauna and about 6 hours in the pool)

Here is the breakdown of how many times I managed to make it to the gym:

  • January: 11
  • February: 10
  • March: 12
  • April: 9
  • May 8
  • June: 12
  • July: 6
  • August: 11
  • September: 18
  • October: 7
  • November: 8
  • December: 13

Let’s see whether I can up it in 2013.
