The owner of the truck that has these mature cacti growing in explained to me that he is a landscaper and will use these for building a living fence around a property. Never thought of cacti as mobile, but leave it up to humans to add agility to slow plants.

I helped a bit to pack some of these bags, with challah, honey and apples to be taken at Rosh Hashanah by members of the shul. Felt good to volunteer and be with others, even if I was late to the party.
